Matthew Caldwell's passion for music is shown daily as he shares his gift with those that he reaches. Musically outside of education, he served as musical director for NJ Productions for 7 years where he composed and arranged songs for various plays and theatrical productions. He has played for several national recording artists such as Ben Tankard, Lisa McClendon, Benita Jones, William Murphy, Donnie McClurkin, Johnathan Dunn, Denice Williams, Chokolate, Yazarah, D’atra Hicks, Keli Nicole, Mel Holder and many others. He has also played for some of Virginia’s finest artists from K'bana Blaq, Ashley Felder, Alex Holt and Free Worship, to Markise Hicks and the MO band, Unconditional and the list goes on.  Professionally he has done studio work on many projects in various genres which also includes string compositions and arrangements.
